Paul Heaton, the British icon behind the Housemartins and The Beautiful South, performing with special guest vocalist, Rianne Downey, has announced a UK tour, including a date at Liverpool‘s M&S Bank Arena.
Heaton will bring his decades-long back catalogue, including cuts from The Beautiful South, and the Housemartins, to the M&S Bank Arena on December 6th.
Heaton’s last trip to Liverpool featured former Beautiful South co-lead Jacqui Abbott alongside, however, Abbott recently ceased touring due to medical reasons.
The tour comes off the back of Heaton‘s new album, The Mighty Several, due on October 11th, produced by local icon Ian Broudie.
They’ll be joined by special guests, The Zutons, who are in the midst of their well deserved revival.
